Skin tags are small, soft pieces of hanging skin often found around the eyes, neck and armpits. They are usually a few millimetres in size and can sometimes be much larger. Skin tags are not cancerous, but can cause discomfort if rubbed against jewellery or ones clothes. Some may develop these tags as fleshy ‘polyps’ around the anus. They do not usually require any treatment, however if they cause discomfort they can be removed.
